Elizabeth Barnett’s solo exhibition Milk celebrates the feminine and the role of artist and mother. It captures moments from the artist’s life after having her third child. The work is a visual journey through the turn of the season and the clutter of domesticity and the studio. Objects in Barnett’s still life paintings are symbolic, representing people or places that come together to create highly personal and emotional compositions. Milk is representative of the undulating landscape of motherhood.
