Bringing together different chapters of a story, this panoramic collection of paintings captures a journey – by road and through time – from the vertical Karri Forests in the South of Western Australia to the expansive horizons of the Pilbara in the North. Drawing on her 45 year art practice, Eveline Kotai’s technique of cutting and reconfiguring earlier works, abstracts her subject into an intuitive compilation of perceptions, memories and glimpses of moving through the landscape – as a visitor in constant wonderment.
