Goulburn Regional Art Gallery presents the Archibald Prize 2023 Regional Tour.

The annual Archibald Prize is eagerly anticipated by artists and audiences alike. You will recognise famous faces, local heroes and encounter new personalities in an exhibition reflecting the stories of our times.

Judged by the trustees of the Art Gallery of NSW, the prize is awarded to the best portrait painting. Since 1921, it has highlighted figures from all walks of life, from famous faces to local heroes, reflecting back to us the stories of our times.

Following their display at the Art Gallery in Sydney, the Archibald Prize 2023 finalist works will tour to six venues in Victoria and regional NSW, offering audiences around the country the opportunity to see these notable works.
