Contemporary landscapes which examine the intricate cycles of nature are presented in the exhibition ‘Atomised’ by Northern Rivers artists Beki Davies and Georgi Milln. Delving into the centre of life, the exhibition highlights the continuous transformations in our world driven by energy, time, creation, and destruction and offers a reflection on how our environment and society are in a perpetual state of flux, and as a society, we are continually grasping at ideas bigger than ourselves.
Georgi Milln’s series of copper patina landscapes capture the subtle beauty of natural processes, showcasing the evolving textures and hues that reflect nature’s constant state of change. While Beki Davies uses her distinctive painterly cyanotype process to provide a glimpse into the fluidity and dynamism of water, emphasizing its role as both a creator and a destroyer in the natural world.
