The Bayside Acquisitive Art Prize is a celebration of contemporary Australian painting with an acquisitive art prize of $15,000 awarded annually. The finalist exhibition brings together a broad range of artists, both established and emerging, whose varied approaches to the painted medium conveys the breadth and diversity of painting in Australia today.
This year’s judges are, Jane Clark, Senior Research Curator, MONA (Museum of Old and New Art), Hobart, and Dr Chris McAuliffe, Art Historian, Centre for Art History and Art Theory at the Australian National University, Canberra.
