One exhibition each year enables Umbrella’s artist members to participate and exhibit their work. Following recent lofty themes which captured the zeitgeist, ‘Cats vs Dogs’ was inspired by banter around whether dogs or cats are better. The exhibition theme was intended to
lighten the mood, inviting members to be inspired by the fun, literal animal terms or more ‘highbrow’ interpretations, including concepts or critiques of polarity, politics or binary forces.
