The Lock-Up’s annual fundraising show is back, featuring its biggest line up yet with works by over 100 Hunter-based artists, and some former and future TLU exhibiting artists. All works will be available to purchase online and in the gallery, with 40% of all sales facilitating The Lock-Up’s artistic program and 60% kept by the artist. This year’s edition is curated by Young & Emerging Curator Isabel Whittle.
The Lock-Up is committed to presenting the best of contemporary art in Newcastle, and the gallery hopes to mirror this commitment in its selection of artists. COLLECT is a celebration of Newcastle’s diverse creative community – it’s the gallery’s way of supporting and connecting with its local community of artists, by introducing them to Collectors big and small.
