Conduit brings together teachers from Hazelhurst Arts Centre, TAFE NSW Ceramic Design Studio Gymea, TAFE ceramics studios from across Sydney, and several Hazelhurst Arts Centre students. The exhibition is a celebration of ceramics, its elemental nature, the way in which it is drawn from the ground and manifested in final objects. Conduit acknowledges the journey from material to object and that the transmission of knowledge from teacher to student is as fundamental as the outcome.
