Laree Payne Gallery is pleased to present Dyads, Myriads, an exhibition comprising just six works with two works each by Trent Crawford*, John Ward Knox** and Gallery artist, Harry McAlpine. With a loose thematic parameter of ‘flight’ all three artists have drawn on birds to support a conversation across time, evolution and technology. Grounded in reality yet gently manipulated and at times doctored, works included share a lyrical quality which carries a sense of both the past and the future at once.
