Now in it’s twelfth biennial year, the $26,000 Hazelhurst Art on Paper Award celebrates works on paper while supporting and promoting artists working with this medium.
This year’s winners are David Lawrey & Jaki Middleton for their work titled Eternal Return, 2023. The Sydney based artists have been awarded $15,000. Prizes also went to Jenna Lee and Christopher Lawrie, with all finalists being named as Highly Commended due to the quality of submissions.
The 2023 exhibition features the works of 82 finalists from across Australia and includes painting, photography, printmaking, drawing, sculpture and video.
