Jaren | جڑیں | Roots | جذور is a new collaborative exhibition between Bundoora Homestead, La Trobe University and the Islamic Museum of Australia.
This exhibition brings together works from three separate art collections, that seek to tell stories of migration and culture, community, identity and shared values from a diverse group of artists that call or have called Australia home.
Featuring: Abdul Abdullah, Abdul-Rahman Abdullah, Cigdem Aydemir, Mirela Cufurovic, Rubaba Haider, Fatima Killeen, Aniwar Mamat, Nusra Latif Qureshi and Naeem Rana.
Curated by Mahmoud Mohammed, Jacqui Shelton and Sarah Werkmeister.
