A photographic exhibition by Helene Cochaud, sharing personal stories from sepsis survivors and the families who have lost loved ones.

You may be familiar with the word ‘sepsis’, but do you know what it is exactly? Did you know it kills approximately 8700 Australians every year? Despite these staggering statistics, sepsis remains under-recognised in the community.

SOMEBODY #coulditbesepsis? is a powerful and important documentary photographic exhibition shedding light on the impact of sepsis. It provides a personal and intimate look at the sepsis survivor experience in the hope to raise awareness, so that the community can begin to understand the gravity and profound trauma it has on individuals and their families.

Opening Event: Thursday 18 July, 6 – 8pm.
