Iluka Sax-Williams is a multidisciplinary artist with a practice across Indigenous Visual Art, Dance and Design. His practice is informed by strong connections to his Torres Strait Islander and Taungurung culture.
The artist is dedicated to sharing and enhancing awareness of First Nations Art, Culture, Knowledge and History of the surrounding sacred lands. Sax-Williams utilised traditional cultural materials and techniques within a contemporary context as a practice of reclamation, learning, and teaching.
