Perceptions explores the observations and interpretations of the landscape through sight and sound by Jinibara artist Jason Murphy and sculptor Gabe Parker.
Images of the Stanley River are projected against a kinetic sculpture containing reflective surfaces. As the sculpture moves, the image is distorted and transformed before the viewer’s eyes. A soundscape of composed ambient field recordings asks the viewer to consider their own impact and footprint on country.
