Vapourscape is an exploration of the incredible ever-changing landscape where the artist Julie Keating lives – especially the great fogs and mists that roll over her property in the Western District of Victoria.

Long been influenced by 17th century Dutch still life and its meticulous depiction of objects and the compositional nature of still life, more recently, having moved out of Melbourne to the Western District of Victoria, Keating, ever a city dweller, finds herself unexpectedly inspired by the sheer beauty of nature and her natural surrounds.
