“A certain quality of light is only observable in the twilight sky; a glowing, soft light accentuated by the long shadows that merge in the landscape beneath.”

Kirrily Hammond’s work celebrates the sublime in the everyday, and her evocative imagery depicts an intersection between the landscapes of the imagination and those physically experienced by the artist. For this exhibition, Hammond presents a new suite of paintings and prints depicting the northern skies and landscapes of her new home in Denmark.
