Gallery Sally Dan-Cuthbert presents its second solo photographic exhibition with renown international artist, Lisa Reihana.

Reihana will exhibit a selection of carefully curated photographic works spanning her decades long career providing viewers the opportunity to engage with historic and new work – some images are being exhibited in Sydney for the first time. Reihana is a multi-disciplinary artist whose practice spans film, sculpture, costume and body adornment, text and photography. She is known for significantly influencing the development of contemporary art through her ability to harness how identity and history are represented and, the intersection of these ideas with concepts of place and community.

GROUNDLOOP, 2022, is Reihana’s most recent and ambitious work, commissioned by the Art Gallery of New South Wales to celebrate the opening of Sydney Modern in December 2022.

Lisa Reihana will be in Australia leading up to and, for the first week of the exhibition at Gallery Sally Dan-Cuthbert.
