Prelude is Marie Mansfield‘s exquisitely noir-esque new exhibition. The artist is a master of light and dark—she revels in the small details often discarded in our haste through life. This body of work explores the moments of clandestine anticipation in spaces before we inhabit them. Absent of people, Mansfield invites us to join the clues to stories that are yet to be told, or discover that it is indeed our own story that she is alluding to.
