Sullivan+Strumpf presents These Girls of the Studio, an exhibition featuring works by Natalya Hughes.

Following her major solo exhibition, The Interior, on now at the Institute of Modern Art, Brisbane, Hughes extends on her work investigating the relationship between Modernist painters and their anonymous women subjects. These Girls of the Studio sees Hughes illuminate the work of German expressionist painter and printmaker Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, in a playfully provocative series of paintings, tufted rug works, and appliqué textiles.
