MUMA will present the first exhibition of Australian, New York-based designer Visnja Brdar. Having worked across fashion, architecture, product design, real estate and beauty, Brdar’s practice is exemplified by its independence, simplicity and dynamism.

The exhibition, the first solo survey of a woman designer in an Australian institution, is curated by Hannah Mathews and will draw on Brdar’s archive and celebrate her important role in contemporary design communication. MUMA will co-publish the first monograph on Brdar’s work with Powerhouse Publishing.
