Mornington Peninsula Regional Gallery (MPRG) is the largest public gallery in the South East region of Melbourne. It strives to make art accessible to everyone in its community. Entry to the gallery is free.

Over the past 50 years the MPRG Collection has grown to include more than 1,900 objects, including paintings, drawings, prints and sculptures. Renowned for its specialist holdings of contemporary Australian works on paper, it also holds important historical artworks that capture the cultural heritage of the Mornington Peninsula, which has been a haven and source of inspiration for many well-known artists.

A new series of permanent collection rooms present highlights of the collection and gives the gallery the opportunity to activate its collection in fresh and unexpected ways. Friends of MPRG support the ongoing development of the gallery. The Friends organise regular events, such as coffee morning talks and excursions, which help connect its members socially, and bring new people into the gallery.
