We do everything we can to ensure that your artist publication or artwork arrives to you safe and sound and in a timely fashion. Below is a summary of our shipping conditions.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Once you have completed your purchase of an artwork or artist publication through the Art Collector website, we contact the publisher with your address details and organise delivery with the associated freight provider, depending on the size, location and price of the work. We will endeavour to have your item shipped via the associated freight provider within 3-5 working days. We will contact you directly should there be any unforeseen delays.
Once the order has been shipped, you will receive an email notification with tracking details. Your item should arrive within 14 working days after your purchase, depending on where you live in Australia.
DO YOU DELIVER INTERNATIONALLY?
No. We do not currently ship outside Australia.
DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR SHIPPING?
Shipping is free within Australia. All prices include shipping and handling costs. Your item is also fully insured against loss and damage for the time the artwork is in transit.
CAN I COLLECT AN ARTWORK IN PERSON?
Items cannot be collected in person.
CAN MY ORDER BE DELIVERED TO A P.O. BOX?
We are unable to deliver to a P.O. Box. Please ensure that you specify a valid residential or business address during check out.
DOES SOMEONE NEED TO BE HOME FOR DELIVERY?
No. If no one is home the item will either be left in a safe location or taken to the nearest post office for collection.
WHAT IF DAMAGE OCCURS DURING SHIPPING?
In the very rare case of damage occurring during artwork delivery, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as you can. If the work is returned to the artist within 7 days we can arrange a refund or, if it is one of a series, replace it. The parcel must be unopened.
CAN I RETURN AN ARTWORK IF I DON’T LIKE IT?
We offer a 7-day free returns policy on artworks if you change your mind. Within this period, you can return the artwork to us for an exchange or full refund. You must email us at email@example.com within 7 days of receiving your artwork stating that you wish you return the artwork and we will organise a return with the associated freight provider. We must receive the artwork back in the same condition you received it in order to receive a refund or exchange.
We offer refunds for artist publications as long as the parcel is unopened. We do not cover the cost of shipping to return artist publications.
FOR ARTWORKS – WHEN OPENING YOUR PARCEL, PLEASE REMEMBER:
All artworks are works on paper and are very delicate. All parcels should be opened and handled by professional framers to ensure no damage to the artwork occurs.
