Completely absorbed in her subject matter, Celia Perceval ‘channels’ nature through her. Summer light, atmosphere and energy is evoked as a result of direct engagement with remote Australian landscape and bush while the artist paints in situ.

According to Dr Andrew Frost ‘Perceval is a dedicated explorer of wild and hidden places….searching out sites where rivers meet the ocean and looking for vistas that capture her imagination’.
