Perth Art Weekend 9 – 11 August

The inaugural Perth Art Weekend takes place 9–11 August 2024 across Perth City and the wider metropolitan area.

The inaugural Perth Art Weekend is set to bring together Perth’s cultural and creative sectors in a celebration of the city’s dynamic and diverse artistic community. Major public and private art institutions, galleries, alternative spaces, collections, and artists will join forces for a series of free events spanning three days. The program includes family-friendly activities, exhibition openings, guided tours, performances, urban interventions, and art walks, inviting the Western Australian public to immerse themselves in the city’s creative spirit.

The event program announced this week aims to enhance cultural access and highlight the vibrant art scene in one of the world’s most geographically isolated cities. Running from August 9 to 11, 2024, the event is presented by the Perth Art Foundation, an organisation dedicated to fostering education and appreciation for contemporary art in Western Australia.
