Micheal Do

Micheal Do is a curator and writer. His exhibition Soft Core, exploring soft and inflatable sculptures developed for Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre, Sydney, is currently touring twelve regional and rural galleries throughout New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland. He was previously Producer of Creative Programs at The Red Room Company, Exhibition Manager at Penrith Regional Gallery & The Lewers Bequest, Exhibitions Manager at Liverpool City Council Library, and Programs Officer at Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre. Do curated The Invisible Hand (2019) and Not Niwe, Not Nieuw, Not Neu (2017) for 4A and has also recently developed 5X5, a survey of 5 artist/collector relationships for Penrith Regional Gallery & The Lewers Bequest, Sydney (2018). His arts writing appears in Art Collector, Art Review Asia and 10 Magazine. He was the 2018 recipient of The Freedman Foundation’s Travelling Scholarship for Curators.
