BIBLIO ART PRIZE

Eligibility: Australian or New Zealand

Associated institution: Blarney Books & Art

Artists enter the competition by submitting a registration with a one-off payment of $25. Artists are then allocated a random book title. The artist will read the book, and then create an artwork inspired by it. Through the competition, Blarney Books & Art aim to highlight and support Australian and New Zealand authors and artists. Artists from anywhere across Australia and New Zealand are eligible.

The Different Award Categories

The award categories includes the $2000 Non-acquisitive Grand Prize, the $1000 Non-acquisitive Storyteller prize, the $500 Rainbow prize, the Starving Artist’s prize, the $250 Youth Encouragement Award, the Fennessy Fine Art Prize and the $1000 People’s Choice award.
