Lake Art Prize

The Museum of Art and Culture Lake Macquarie’s Lake Art Prize has a $25,000 acquisitive prize pool to acquire works for the MAC yapang collection. Artists are invited to submit works according to an annual theme. Shortlisted artworks reflect each artists practice across all media and can take any form, including (without limitation) sculpture, painting, drawing, photomedia, installation, sound, fibre arts and a single piece or multi-piece artwork. The winner and highly commended works are announced before the opening of the finalist exhibition, which is held at the Museum of Art and Culture Lake Macquarie.
