The biennial Lloyd Rees Memorial Youth Art Award is a national award that promotes and supports talented emerging artists in Australia aged 18-29 years. Established in 1981 by the Lane Cove community in honour of its long term resident Dr Lloyd Rees. Proudly supported by Lane Cove Council. The top acquisitive prize of $8,000 sponsored by Lane Cove Council also includes a curated solo exhibition two years after, alongside the following edition of the award exhibition.
