Brigitte Lane

Brigitte, who is an AGSA Contemporary Collector, sits in front of William McKinnon’s, On the river now, purchased from Jan Murphy Gallery in Brisbane. “We instantly loved this artwork. The iconic Aussie landscape and the road leading to water greatly appealed to us. It takes us on a journey to a place of peace and relaxation.”

Above the fireplace is Justine Varga’s ‘Condensation’. “This image is soothing and contemplative. It is uncomplicated on the surface, but on closer inspection you see unexpected detail. The perfect calming piece for our bedroom.” Varga is represented by Hugo Michell Gallery in Adelaide and Tolarno Galleries in Melbourne.

Large bellied vessel by Connie Augoustinos and ceramic pieces by Ebony Heidenreich, both from Jam Factory. Painting in background is Terri Brooks’ ‘Small Black’, purchased from Flinders Lane Gallery in Melbourne.

“Our entrance is happy and bursting with colour, and especially joyful during this time of isolation.” Works on wall by Marie Le Lievre (represented by bartley+company art), Emily Pwerle, (purchased from Flinders Lane Gallery), Sally Bourke (represented by Hugo Michell Gallery) Jane Skeer and Minnie Taylor. Ceramic art on bench by Ebony Heidenrich, purchased from Jam Factory.
